The University Teaching Fellowship Awards (UTFA) are for staff who have made exceptional contributions to learning and teaching at Anglia Ruskin University.
this award is currently open

The University Teaching Fellowship Award (UTFA) Scheme is based on the National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS). Applications to the UTFA will use the same format as the NTFS, and it is expected that we shall be able to select candidates for further support towards nomination for a National Teaching Fellowship Award from applicants to our University scheme. Up to six awards will be made each year.
Colleagues who are judged to have provided sufficient evidence of outstanding contributions to learning and teaching and to the higher education community will:
- receive an Anglia Ruskin University Teaching Fellowship Certificate
- be entitled to use the designation 'University Teaching Fellow' (subject to review every 3 years)
- receive a specially designed Learning and Teaching Fellow lapel pin
- have access to a small project grant (up to £5,000) to be used in the support of a specified project in an area of learning or teaching.
Any staff member or student can nominate a colleague for a University Teaching Fellowship. However, only the nominated individual may complete the application. If you would like to nominate someone, send us their name via the link below, and we will contact them with the application details. Alternatively, staff members can nominate themselves through completion of the application process.
