We have a long history of supporting colleagues in pedagogic research and development projects. Each year colleagues are invited to bid for support for development and research projects which are designed to enhance our learning, teaching and assessment practice.

For the academic year 2012 - 2013, Anglia Learning and Teaching shall be allocating a maximum of 14 awards of up to £3500 each to support colleagues in learning and teaching development and research projects.

Eligibility Criteria

Learning and Teaching Project Awards (LTPA) are open to all individuals and teams involved in teaching and in supporting the student learning experience in our community. Both full-time and part-time staff, including staff from partner institutions and Part Time Hourly Paid, are eligible for support.

Funding will be made subject to acceptance of the award conditions, which includes any necessary ethical approval being granted by the relevant authorities and the signature of the Dean of Faculty/Director of Service.

Proposal Development

Proposals for funding should address issues of learning, teaching and assessment that are of particular value to the achievement of objectives in our Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA) Strategy. Projects supported by a LTPA may include:

  • the development of new approaches to learning, teaching and assessment;
  • the piloting of new developments in learning and teaching in the field or sector;
  • the evaluation of new approaches and developments.

Proposals should be submitted electronically to inspire@anglia.ac.uk, by 17.00 on Friday 25 May 2012

Your submitted proposal must be signed by the Deputy Dean with responsibility for LTA.
