3 Jan  Call for nominations for annual Vice Chancellor's Awards.

30 Nov  Anglia Ruskin University multidisciplinary team wins prestigious OASES award.

28 Nov  Call for submissions - Annual Plagiarism Conference: ‘Celebrating 10 years of authentic assessment';
             The Sage, Gateshead, 16-18 July 2012.
             Submission deadlines:
              Tuesday 31 January, 2012 - abstracts for papers;
              Wednesday 29 February 2012 - proposals for workshops, poster, case studies and videos.

Funding

HEA Thematic Workshop and Seminar series: learning and teaching internationalisation theme.
For further details see the Thematic Call Document.
Events to be held between April - November 2012.
Max Award: £500 per hosted event;
Deadline for applications: Friday, 20 January 2012.

HEA International Scholarship Scheme
Max Award: £20,000 per project;
Deadline for applications: Tuesday, 31 January 2012.

Discipline call for proposals to host and deliver a discipline focused learning and teaching workshop or seminar in partnership with the HEA
Increase in funding!
Max Award: £1,000 grant + up to £500 speaker expenses; event to be held before the end of July 2012.

HEA Teaching Development Grants:
Individual Grant Scheme:
Max Award: £7,000 per project.
Deadline for applications: Midnight, Sunday February 19th 2012.

Collaborative Grant Scheme - cross-institution and/or inter-disciplinary:
Max Award: £60,000 per project,
Call opens: Monday, February 27th 2012,
Deadline for applications: Midnight, Sunday April 22nd 2012.

Open call for applications to HEA new UK travel fund to enable staff and students engage in activities related to one of the HEA's priority themes during 2011-2012.
Max Award: £300 for individuals; £500 for teams.
