INNOVATE. CREATIVE IDEAS ON LEARNING AND TEACHING

This year we are giving conference presenters the option of submitting a final report or a paper to the Conference Proceedings to be published in our journal -Networks. Both papers and reports must follow Networks' formatting and submission requirements (.dot).  Papers will be peer reviewed, reports will not.

Papers should be a maximum of 2000 words. Research and learning and teaching development activity described in papers will be located in the relevant theory and will contribute to national/international debate. Usually papers of this length will contain between 15 and 20 references. Papers will be peer reviewed by independent reviewers.

Reports may be less theoretically grounded than full papers, and would normally contain up to 5 references. Activity described in reports doesn't have to be new to the field - it may represent the implementation of something done elsewhere within our context. Reports are usually descriptive in style and are designed to enable colleagues to repeat/try out the activity for themselves. Reports should be a maximum of 1500 words.

Papers and reports must be submitted to Michelle Bernard, Networks editor, by 8th July, 2011.

Formatting and information for authors

Please see the style sheet and template for details on how to format your report or paper.

Please note: Networks is now available online and is freely accessible from our website.  Please email Michelle Bernard if there is any reason why your report or paper should not be made available in this way.
