Anglia Learning and Teaching provides essential advice and support to all members of staff on key aspects of academic life, addressing how best to achieve good practice in the areas of: Learning and Teaching; Flexible and Distributed Learning and Equality and Diversity.

In each sub-section you will find practical guides to assist lecturers in this increasingly used area of teaching, but that will also be helpful from time to time to administrative and support staff. For more detail, please visit the relevant sub-section.

Learning and Teaching contains wide-ranging advice on good practice in learning and teaching brought together by Anglia Learning and Teaching and other departments of Anglia Ruskin University. Building on from the Learning and Teaching section, Flexible and Distributed Learning (FDL) covers the practice of blended, online and distance learning and deals specifically with the University VLE, emerging technologies and using the Web for Learning and Teaching. Equality and Diversity is increasingly becoming an important issue for all members of Anglia Ruskin Staff - in order to meet the diverse needs of student from all walks of life. This sub-section covers the key issues of which all staff should be aware in any dealings with students, and will be of particular interest to lecturers.
